Refocus: What Are You Loooking At?

In the second week of our Refocus series, Pastor Ryan shared a powerful message at Watsonville Church of the Nazarene (WatsNaz) on January 26, 2025, about the importance of focus in our faith. In Matthew 6:22-23, Jesus teaches that our eyes are like a lamp, guiding the direction of our lives. When we fix our eyes on Him, we walk in His light, but when we allow distractions to take over, we lose sight of His purpose for us. As a Bible-based church in Watsonville, we believe that refocusing on Christ brings clarity, purpose, and transformation—not just in our personal lives, but in our homes, workplaces, and communities.

At WatsNaz, we are passionate about seeing heaven on earth in our community. That means shifting our focus from temporary concerns to eternal truth. In a world full of distractions, Jesus calls us to fix our hearts on what truly matters—His kingdom. Whether you are looking for a family-friendly church in Watsonville, a community church in Watsonville, or a welcoming Christian church in Watsonville, we invite you to journey with us as we grow in faith together. Our mission reaches beyond the church walls, impacting lives in Freedom, Corralitos, Pajaro, and throughout South Santa Cruz County.

Pastor Ryan encouraged us to take intentional steps toward spiritual clarity. Through prayer, Scripture, and worship, we can realign our hearts with God’s will. As a Spirit-filled church in Watsonville, we believe that when we focus on Jesus, He transforms not only our lives but also the lives of those around us. No matter where you are in your faith journey, we welcome you to experience God’s presence and purpose at one of our worship services in Watsonville.
