Sermon | Revelation 5

This week Pastor Ryan's finishes off our series in Revelation. In a powerful message he challenges us to think beyond our immediate goals and focus on the ultimate goal of our faith. Drawing from personal experiences of setting and achieving goals, like running a half marathon, Pastor Ryan reflects on how goals give us purpose and direction. He then shifts the focus to our Christian walk, asking, "What’s our goal as followers of Jesus?" It’s not just about avoiding sin or waiting to get to heaven, but about actively living out God’s love here on earth.

Through scripture, Revelation 21:1-6, Pastor Ryan reminds us that we are called to bring a glimpse of heaven to earth by loving others and making disciples. It’s about being part of God's redemptive work now, not just looking forward to the future. He encourages us to take small, practical steps in our daily lives and to specialize in one area where we can make an impact. Watch the full sermon video to explore how we, as individuals and as a church, can live with heaven in mind and take action to love our neighbors and our community.

Sorry about the blurriness of the second half of the video, unfortunately it’s hard when you’re filming yourself I (pastor Ryan) will do better next time! But the heart of the message is still there!
